Senator Cleary Reveals All!
Left to Right: Consultant Tom Herron,
Senator Ray Cleary,
Surfside Councilman Bill McKown &
and one Handsome Host!
Ok, maybe I'm being a little over-dramatic...but I
was able to get out of him some good information. Such as: Which is the
greatest of all Military Colleges & If it's mandatory to play one year of
college football before you can graduate from The Ohio State University.
Senator Cleary is one great guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Join me
and the gang as we learn a little more about our leader! Check it out here
on Episode 23!

Watch the Myrtle
Beach TV exclusive interview on the CCU Arena issue online. Earlier
this month, the Education Foundation Board, aka the CCU Mafia, collectively
agreed that Coastal Carolina Arena, LLC had defaulted on their lease and
declined to offer any more extensions. I wonder what the Edu. Foundation
Board did with David DeSpain's Blue Prints for the Arena. I hope he wrote
his name on them.
On a serious note, this is the second time Horry
County has sent back state funds because a non-profit agency or a non-government
authority rejected a lease or denied a building permit for the Airport. I
wonder if Horry County will be taken serious next time they request for a
Multi-Million Dollar State & Federal Grant. I have a fleeting
suspicion Horry County might be inside-joke at the next Cocktail
Social.
As for the interview with Myrtle Beach TV, the purpose for
this gathering was to provide a means for open discussion by experts and
leaders. Tom Herron brings to the table years of consulting and gives his
blunt opinion on the matter. Councilman Bill McKown provides the
perspective of a Politician and how this issue may come back to haunt us on a
political level. Both gentlemen express their opinions and for that I must
applaud them. A leader who is not afraid of his own opinion is rare in our
area; when was the last time you saw an interview with a local leader about
anything?
In the end, it's up to you as the viewer to heed the call of
these local leaders. Appreciate their courage for being open to the public
and sharing insight not usually done by the higher echelon in the Grand
Strand. Remember, they represent their own opinion and are accountable for
their words...the essence of true leadership. For giggles, why don't you
take my L.I.F.E. of Leadership philosophy and
apply it to your local leaders. See how they measure up. I warn you,
though, this enlightenment is not for the faint of heart; I can not promise that
the results will be desirable.
But let me go ahead and save District 3
of Horry County the time and energy. Marion Foxworth, III does not live
the L.I.F.E. of Leadership.
Accountability, Leadership and Excellence are like Kryptonite to his
character. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but to say the police are lying
(because he said he didn't go into the prostitutes house), despite their
incident report stating they seen him enter the house. The police must
tell report false sightings for fun these days.
Marion has
been telling the paper that it's all a misunderstanding; he neglects to own up
to his decisions; albeit a gross decisions, but it's his, and to each his
own.
